Basically solar PV integrated with a pergola structure which can be used for any number of functions, carport, storage area, possibly a garden shaded area, or a stand alone statement in and of itself. The down side as far as we can see is that it is super customized, while it looks as is some of the structural elements are standardized, it's still all very heavy lumber, and not exactly sure the ground supports. This looks like a project that takes time to permit, time to build, multiple visits by multiple trades - but a bad thing, but can it be done better?
